Sell mulligans at the first tee, not just at check-in.
Golfers leave their wallets in the car, but their phones come along. eventCNX turns each volunteer’s phone into a checkout at check-in, at the contest holes and at the dinner. Golfers pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card, and the money goes straight to your organization’s Stripe account.
Small sales, spread across a whole course.
1 for $5 or 3 for $10. The volunteer taps the bundle, the golfer scans, and the screen says what to hand over.
Longest drive, closest to the pin, beat the pro. Put a volunteer at the hole; golfers pay from the cart without digging for cash.
Watch the pot fill in live, then lock it right before the drawing. The winner’s half is already worked out.
The volunteer enters what the golfer wants to give. It lands in your Stripe account with every other sale.
- Week before
Set it up from the golf template. Practice on the course.
Start from the golf outing template, change any price, add your logo and set a volunteer PIN. Then do a practice run with pretend payments at the holes where volunteers will stand, so you know the signal holds.
- Check-in
Volunteers open a link and type the PIN.
No app and no account. Mulligans and raffle tickets sell at the registration table before the shotgun start.
- On the course
Every contest hole is a checkout.
Each volunteer’s phone works on its own. You see every hole’s sales on the admin screen as they come in, and each volunteer sees only their own.
- Dinner and awards
Lock the 50/50, draw, close the day.
Closing stops new sales and signs volunteers out. Totals by product and volunteer are ready, with a CSV of every sale.
Plan for signal and sun.
Signal
- Courses rarely have Wi-Fi past the clubhouse, so phones use cell data
- Do your practice run at the holes where volunteers will stand
Sun
- Screens wash out outdoors, so turn phone brightness up
- The Daylight theme is the easiest to read outside
What stays the same
- Foursomes and hole sponsors sold ahead of the day stay where you sell them now
- Keep a cash box if you like; eventCNX counts the phone payments
Start here, then change anything.
Every product and price is yours to edit. Add a beverage cart, day-of entries or a putting contest.

Questions golf committees ask
Does it work without Wi-Fi on the course?
Each phone needs a connection, and on most courses that means cell data. Run your practice at the holes where volunteers will stand before the day.
Can golfers pay from the cart?
Yes. They scan the volunteer’s QR with their phone camera and pay on Stripe’s checkout page. No app to download.
Can we sell foursomes and hole sponsors through eventCNX?
eventCNX takes payments in person, on the day. Keep selling registrations and sponsorships ahead of time the way you do now; day-of walk-ups can be a product.
Can we still take cash?
Yes. Keep a cash box if you like. eventCNX counts the phone payments; cash stays in your box.

Set up your outing and run a practice with your volunteers at no cost. Pay when you open it to golfers.
