After the night

Close the event, totals, the CSV, refunds in Stripe, the contributors CSV.

Close the event

On Event and PIN, press Close event. New sales stop, every volunteer is signed out, and any QR still waiting stops working. You can reopen it if you need to. Once totals are final, you can archive it; an archived event can’t be reopened, but its totals stay.

Totals and the CSV

The Tonight tab keeps the night’s totals by product, volunteer and pot. Download CSV gives every sale on its own row: product, option, quantity, volunteer, status, refunds and Stripe’s payment ID. Items bought together in one order share an order number.

Amounts are what guests paid, before Stripe’s fees. Payouts reach your bank on your Stripe account’s usual schedule.

Refunds

Refund a guest in your Stripe Dashboard, in full or in part. eventCNX hears about it from Stripe and takes it off the totals and the pot on its own. A partial refund on an order is spread over its items by price.

The contributors CSV

If a product asked for contributor details, the Tonight tab also has Download contributors CSV: name, email, address, employer and occupation for each of those sales. It’s kept separate from the sales CSV so the everyday export carries no addresses.

Tidy up

• Change or turn off the floor lead PIN.
• Season Pass holders: the next event is already covered. We email a month before the pass ends.
